Cat Villiers received the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo in 2008, at the 14th Sarajevo Film Festival. She is a British film producer, one of the behind-the-camera names that filled the award’s early years.
Her page belongs to the builder list. The Honorary Heart’s first decade went, by and large, to the people who made the festival work rather than to the faces on the posters — producers, funders, diplomats, festival hands. The famous names came later, once the builders had built enough for the festival to attract them.
