Who runs this site

The site is written and maintained by Nedim Hadzimahmutovic (“the editor”, “we”, “us”), based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Editorial content

All editorial text on this site — destinations, hidden gems, stories, guides, and page copy — is original work by Nedim Hadzimahmutovic unless otherwise attributed. You may:

  • Quote short excerpts (under 100 words) with attribution and a link back to the source page.
  • Link to any page freely.

You may not:

  • Reproduce entire pages or substantial portions without written permission.
  • Present the content as your own.
  • Use the content for commercial purposes (resale, inclusion in paid products) without written permission.

Photographs

Photographs on this site are used under specific licences (Creative Commons, Unsplash, Pixabay, public domain, or used with venue permission). Each photograph is credited in its caption. The licence terms of each photograph govern what you may do with it — check the original source linked in the caption.

Original illustrations

The SVG illustrations (postcards series, logo, compass mark) are original work. All rights reserved. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without written permission.

PDF booklets

The PDF booklets available at /downloads/ are sold as a bundle via Gumroad. Purchased PDFs are for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not redistribute, resell, or upload them to file-sharing services.

The free PDFs (postcards and about sampler) may be shared freely, with attribution.

Accuracy and liability

We strive to keep all information accurate and up to date. However:

  • Prices, opening hours, and availability of venues change without notice. Always verify with the venue before visiting.
  • Coordinates are verified against multiple sources (see about) but GPS accuracy varies.
  • Historical facts are cited from published sources. Where sources disagree, we note the disagreement.

This site is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that any information is complete, current, or error-free. We are not liable for any loss, injury, or inconvenience arising from the use of information on this site.

The site links to external websites (Google Maps, Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, venue websites, Gumroad). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those sites. External links do not imply endorsement.
