Who made it
Written in Sarajevo by Nedim Hadzimahmutovic.
I lived in Sarajevo for about twenty years and never really explored it. I came back in late 2025 with my wife and our child, and her questions about the city started this journal. Every page is written and checked by hand, sourced, and credited down to the last photograph. More about the journal.

Before you buy.
What exactly do I download?
One ZIP file with 13 PDFs (35.3 MB): the 311-page field journal, its four parts as separate books, and the 8 pocket guides. All A5 (148 × 210 mm).
How do I get the files after paying?
Checkout runs through Gumroad. The download is on the receipt page straight away and in the email Gumroad sends you, and it stays in your Gumroad library.
Do I get new editions?
The bundle is rebuilt as the site changes. When it is, the file in your Gumroad library is the new edition. This one was built on 15 October 2026.
Will it work on my phone?
Yes. Open the PDFs in any reader: Books on an iPhone, Drive or a PDF app on Android. Unzip on a computer first if your phone does not open ZIP files.
Can I print it?
Yes, for your own use. Please do not share the files further.
